This post is about one of my favorite artist here in Philippines. The one and only Myrtle Gail Sarrosa
After winning in ASAP pop viewer award, think and create short post for her.
She was born in December 7, 1994 and she is one year old younger in me (hahaha) and in July 7, 2012 he declared as a big Winner on PBB teen edition 4, over her competitor Karen, Roy and Twin Joj and Jai. Sarrosa was still one of talent of Star Magic and official VJ of Hero TV. She is also student of UP university and an SK chairman in Iloilo, i think everybody know that.
She was one of the main cast of "Kahit Pusoy masugatan" view in primetime bida in ABSCBN as Monique and paired with kit and yves. She also in "TodaMax" cast and lunched his first digital single entitled "Your name" in Online Music store in philippines.
Of course I'm her one of the Avid Fans and can scream out loud when i see her. Collecting stuff where I can see her face and sometime imitating her style. When i am in my high school, I already know her as one of the cosplayer here in philippines. seeing her pic in some of the trusted site in the internet, and one of those is the devianart where i found one of the official site of the Cosplayer Alodia Gosiangfiao.
Sometimes when they comparing alodia and Myrtle as a cosplayer I felt conscious becouse alodia is different with myrtle. Alodia is a very great cosplayer artist and she is known outside in the country. while myrtle is also different in her way because every cosplayer have their own unique style (but I am not a cosplayer, so i can't identify it) and their are thousand of cosplayer like them, so when we say myrtle is not all cosplay is about her.
But the things about i love Myrtle cosplay is she raised the flag of an otaku (Yes!). she shown in PBB that what a cosplayer is, by cosplaying a character is also expressing herself, cosplaying is combination of art and fashion also, and what alodia say it is a passion.
In Myrtle act, in anyone who say myrtle act as monique is bad think first, After the PBB and get the role of monique, Myrtle is a first timer actress and that time she doesn't take any workshop. And nobody's perfect, I know that when she dance in ASAP is not that good but she try her best in every performance she made.
